The Saskatchewan Geological Open House
The conference is co-hosted by the Saskatchewan Geological Survey (Ministry of Energy and Resources, Government of Saskatchewan), and the independent, non-profit Saskatchewan Geological Society. This event fulfills the mandates of both groups by profiling high-quality geoscience in support of Saskatchewan’s mineral industry while promoting earth sciences in the public at large.
The Open House continues to be the premier annual meeting venue for mining and mineral exploration companies active in Saskatchewan with over 700 local, national, and international delegates attending annually.
Each year, the Open House features a strong technical program that begins Tuesday morning and concludes Wednesday afternoon. The program will profile the geoscience endeavors of the Saskatchewan Geological Survey and feature a number of talks from academia and industry that highlight various Saskatchewan exploration and development projects as well as advances in exploration techniques. An IceBreaker evening, trade show, poster session, and short courses round out the event.
Commercial exhibits will be located within the Conference Foyer, Terrace Lounge, and the Adam Ballroom of the main Convention floor and in the William Pascoe Room on the Mezzanine floor. Technical posters and technical talks are on the Mezzanine Floor within the William Pascoe Room and Battleford Room respectively. Exhibition space is limited, so book now!
We appreciate the participation of all our delegates, exhibitors, and conference sponsors. It is thanks to the support of our exhibitors and sponsors that we are able to once again offer free registration to all conference delegates.
Sincerely,
The Saskatchewan Geological Open House Committee
